NOT the COT Run: 9 - 13 March
As many of you may know, the 2021 Classic Outback Trial, which was to have run in early March, has been pushed back to August due to uncertainty around border closures. We fully understand the issues the COT organisers are facing and support them 100%.
The good news is that club members Michael and Anne Wilkinson have put together an alternative event to fill the void!
It's a scenic and challenging 5 day drive around Victoria during the same week the COT would have run. Affectionately known as "NOT the COT", this run will take us on the following Route:

Day 1 - Tuesday 9 March: Melbourne to Paynesville

Day 2 - Wednesday 10 March: Paynesville to Dinner Plain, via a circuitous route being: Omeo; Falls Creek; Bright; Hotham; Dinner Plain.

Day 3 - Thursday 11 March: Dinner Plain to Beechworth, via another circuitous route being: Omeo; Corryong; Tintaldra; Tallangatta; Beechworth

Day 4 - Friday 12 March: Beechworth to Milawa, Wine touring in the afternoon

Day 5 - Saturday 13 March: Milawa to Melbourne
We are planning to try out some great restaurants, visit a number of wineries, do a wee bit of socialising, and did I mention the wineries??
